How To Make Bath Bombs With Rose Petals?

Learn how to make DIY rose petal bath bombs! This all-natural bath bomb recipe combines dried rose petals, coconut oil, and essential oils. The article also demonstrates how to make homemade bath bombs using a measuring cup.

Ingredients:

  • Dried Rose Petals
  • Pink Mica Powder
  • Gold Mica Powder
  • 99% Isopropyl Alcohol
  • Pink Pitaya Powder - 1 Tablespoon
  • Citric Acid - 1+1/4 Cups (125 Grams)
  • Virgin Coconut Oil - 1/3 Cup (80 Grams)
  • Rose Essential Oil - 70 Drops (3 Grams)
  • Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate) - 2 Cups (260 Grams)

Directions:

Step 1: Melt the coconut oil over a double boiler or in a microwave set to medium for 1-minute intervals. Allow the melted coconut oil to cool for 5 minutes before adding the rose essential oil. Stir thoroughly.

Step 2: Sift the baking soda and citric acid together in a bowl to eliminate any lumps. Stir in the pink pitaya powder. Mix the melted coconut oil with the dry ingredients.

Step 3: The mixture should have the consistency of damp sand and hold together when formed into a ball. It's advisable to use your hands to get a better feel for the texture.

Step 4: Sprinkle some rose petals into the measuring cup. It is advisable to avoid the edges, as the petals can cause breakage. Fill the measuring cup with the bath bomb ingredients. The cup should be filled to the brim.

Step 5: Once the cup is full, push the mixture down with your fingertips. Then, using a smaller measuring cup, crush the mixture further.

Step 6: Pack the mixture as tightly as possible, paying special attention to the edges. The flat bottom of the measuring cups works great for this, resulting in a level surface.

Step 7: To release the bath bomb, turn the cup over and tap it firmly on your work area. Be cautious when raising the cup. Place the bath bombs on a sheet of wax paper so they may be lifted and moved around while drying.

Step 8: Clean the interior of the measuring cup after each use. The bath bomb combination tends to adhere to the remaining residue.

Step 9: After unmoulding, the bath bombs must firm for a few hours overnight, preferably in a dry, cool location.

Step 10: Allow to dry for four hours or overnight. Then, wrap each bath bomb with plastic wrap or cling film and store it in an airtight container.

How To Dry Rose Petals For Bath Bombs?

Remove the rose petals from the stems and place them on a piece of canvas or a drying tray for 4 or 5 days. The drying time will vary slightly, but you will know when they are done. Lay down the rose petals in a single layer to allow them to dry faster.

Another option uses a microwave. Begin by arranging a single layer of rose petals on a paper towel. Next, wrap the petals with another paper towel, lay them on a microwave-safe tray, and microwave for 30 seconds. Repeat the process until the petals are dry and crispy.

Conclusion

Learn how to make a rose petal bath bomb using dried rose petals. This bath bomb is crafted from real rose petals and has a lovely rose smell. Whatever your needs are, always choose the best ingredients for your art; they are frequently less expensive than ready-made ones.

Use them for both aromatherapy and skincare advantages. They make great Valentine's Day gifts, but you can also use them for rose bath bomb benefits throughout the year. If you want to save money while getting the best components for your rose petal bath bombs, visit www.VedaOils.com.
