  • Fragrance Weight: The amount of fragrance oil you need in Grams.
  • Total Weight: The total weight of Material you're using in Grams in Candle Making Process.
  • Fragrance Load Percentage: The recommended fragrance load percentage, typically provided by your fragrance oil supplier. This is the percentage of fragrance oil to the total weight of the wax.

Note: Generally, fragrance load percentages can range from 0.5% to 12%.

Determining the required quantity of fragrance or essential oil is a straightforward process. You can utilize the calculator to formulate customized blends. Refer to the recommended amounts for various products below, designed for a medium-strength fragrance:

Fragrance Oils:

  • Container Candles: 5 to 8% of the total wax weight.
  • Votive and Tarts: 6 to 9% of the total wax weight.
  • Cold Process Soap: 3% to 6% of the total weight of oils used.
  • Melt and Pour Soap: 2% to 5% of the total weight of the soap base.
  • Liquid Soap: 1% to 3% of the total weight of the product.
  • Lotions and Creams: 0.5% to 2% of the total weight of the product.
  • Shampoo: 0.5% to 2% of the total weight of the product.
  • Conditioner: 0.5% to 2% of the total weight of the product.
  • Body Sprays: 5% to 15% of the total weight of the product.
  • Perfumes: 10% to 20% of the total weight of the product.
  • Air Fresheners: 5% to 15% of the total weight of the product.
